The clan wont be making this years ride, we have a few kids that need some extra attention and they wont be going anywhere.

No, I was a day late and a buck short! :(

Although I had a 500 at the time (still have it) I did not frequent the forum so I missed out.

It was not untill april when I cleaned up at oldsmobile hill on my 500 that the 500 bug bit me. Have had 500itus ever since.

I was bummed when I saw I had missed 2010 hoonfest which happened literaly in my front yard  . I was worried that the 2011 hoonfest might be held somewhere far away. At the rate the aussies have been joining, thought it might be really far away!

The dunes and cinders are the type of riding I like best, but I am stoked at the oportunity to hang out with the crew.

Bob, you should convince Roosty to make the haul down..........
Then he can just pick me up on the way by, and I can drink beer the whole way down. :P

Oh and it looks like I have those days off!

any vids of the area? what kind of riding, and how many people are expected?
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

Vancouver to Phoenix 1600 miles and change. Gotta split the cost of an old school bus with roosty, gut the rear half for bike parking, pick up the rest of the canadians and charge beer and fuel $$. Pick up a few WA/OR residents on the way.

That's a lot of red bull and beef jerky, but it's not much further than LA, which i've done lots.

Hey Bob, my wife rides a quad. are there going to be any trails she can ride, or is it going to be just single track dirtbike stuff. I am all for the hard stuff, but is there room for family stuff too?
