Seat swapping question

Post by jeffatc250r »

I currently have a 94 cr-5 setup as a street bike. One problem is it is literally a PAIN in the ass! After about an hour of riding around my tailbone is screaming at me to stop.

I had a 87' cr-5 that I sold last year that was like driving a big comfy couch. I no longer have that bike so Im hoping someone can help me out before I buy an 87 seat for nothing.

Will an 87 seat bolt on to my 94? Any other suggestions? Thanks, Jeff

You could go custom with it, about your only option.

 You guys are funny, riding around with a donut strapped to my ass would be pretty funny though.

Ive just learned to deal with it by frequently standing up to avoid the soreness, ive really been racking up the miles on it the last few weeks and have been able to do 3-4 hr rides with no prob now. Think im just gonna run it. Although I am curious how that gel works out asteroid.

Danny graves, I just noticed your link, seen the tall foam and I think that Im gonna try that out. Or atleast buy it so I can look at it sitting on my toolbox until I get a new cover. Thanks a bunch for the link, and as for the rest of the links, pretty funny shit, I admit I had it coming though
