Square expansion chambers
Slim, a fabricator out of Cali builds a bunch aof way rad stuff. He built this drag bike out a DT400 and I absolutlely love the exhaust on this thing. From what I have researched about how an expansion chamber works I cant really see this out performing a round expansion chamber, but it looks so ins...

I measured to the top of the piston from the deck, got my measurements and came up with an exhaust port timing of 86.5 degrees ATDC via torqsoft. I read in a thread about a page back that (port timmings) that stock was close to 177.5 degrees. Was that not refering to ATDC? Once again, sorry for my i...

Most of us would have finished this by now. No I didnt miss what yo...

I am starting to dick around with pipe design for my 500 project. I have some software (2 stroke wizard tuned pipe pro 3) that I am going to use for design and then my plan is to draw it up in CAD, print out a template and then get my welder buddy to give it a shot. Sooooo I started mapping out my c...

I have been messing around with my clutch cover this last week. Cut the water pump outlets off to fit the fin cylinder and filled the holes with epoxy. Got after the inside of the water pump housing with the dremel making as much room as possible. Where the water pump was is going to be a little hid...

Back on subject. I orderd an 84 cylinder, head, and piston for a good price. Said it might be usable, but made no promises. I am not sure how far these parts can go so I figured I'd snap a few pics. I just wonder if these parts can get me going as far as building and a little testing with the bike a...

I love the look too! Just imagine a great big downpipe tucking under the frame and I like it even more! Thanks guys. My watercooled cylinder is roached. I have no idea what I want to do. I want an AF bike really bad, but am financially way closer to having a cool bike to thrash around on back roads...

Just read this, and I wish I would have seen this before today. I am praying for your father and your family. I obviously just know you as a screen name, but I know on the other end of it is a man who loves his pops and tries his best to show him and make him proud. I can totally relate to that. How...

That tire iron story is awsome! The best part is you being a bag of dog food lol. Im sure everyone has done this is just depends on when it happens. Dont turn your fuel off while you are riding! My little rule is I only turn the petcock on or off when the bike is in the back of the truck. http://i87...
