Update: It Runs! Got all the PATS stuff installed yesterday, and she fired RIGHT up. Only let it run for a second, dont have any trans fluid (need a Yoke for driveshaft first) Couple odds and ends left to do and she will be driving. When its all done, I will post a detailed write-up of what all I ha...

I like Klotz Super Techniplate. Ran it in every dirt bike I have owned. Only ever had one problem, which was my fault. Definitely wasnt a lubrication issue

Vote Them Out

Over the weekend, we came four votes away from the United States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The Statement of Purpos...

No....we cant do that. Obama said in his book Audacity of Hope that he will stand by the Muslims even when the political winds shift unfavorably.

This administration WANTS fear. It is their tool for stomping on out rights

Nothing like paving the way! I cant stand having more than one project at a time. Drives me crazy having something ripped apart, cause all I want to do is race for the end product (without cutting corners, that is) Stock motor i believe is around 130 HP. With the work done to the V8, it should be ar...

Just curious, why would a 250 pipe not work? I havent set the pipes side by side, but from looking at them installed, the stinger outlet looks to be of similar diameter, and the beginning of the pipe also looks to be close in size. But, I am going going off a quick glance here

Long time-no update. Cylinders had rust in them-must have gotten some water in there when the guy had it in storage. So, motor got a new short block. New pistons, all new bearings....I also threw a performance cam from Comp Cams into it, converted to Roller Rockers from Crane Cams, and a double roll...

Good luck with that.....every time someone tries to get these made, it turns into a disaster. I'm surprised at least one company doesnt offer these full time, as they obviously have a demand.

Pull starting but not kick starting is usually a sign of low compression.

That ws deinitely caused by a long-overdue top end rebuild. I dont think bad jetting would cause that.

BUT, unless I missed a picture, only one case half is bad?

With that carnage, you best replace the crank, or have yours rebuilt with a fresh rod kit.

That thing LOOKS clean as can be. If it runs as good as it looks, I would take it away. Looks like it mostly has HWY miles, based on the corporate thing you mentioned

Not a bad approach there. But, it seems like the tank may interfere with that? I would simply go look at the bike, but it is kind of buried right now.

02 450 head stay

Long story short, the head stay on my bike is worthless. I want to fix it, but I have a problem.... I dont have the stock aluminum horseshoe piece. Cant find one on Ebay either. At this point, I basically have a straight iron bar with tabs that go from ONE headstay mount on the frame, over to the he...

Man that sucks.....Over this way, one of our customer's garages just burned down.

A sick Big Block Monte Carlo, an SS Nova and another cherry classic car up in smoke. The remnants are similar to the pictures of the bikes... Fires must be going around right now. Makes your heart sink :/
