The 02 on up electronics make 12v to power the electric servo which opens and closes the powervalve.There is a voltage regulator/switcher that probably reverses polarity (best guess) to open and close the powervalve. I dont see where if they were not hooked up would keep it from not working. There a...

The 500 IS NOT a street bike. Get yourself a real street bike if you want a trouble free 80 - 100 mile a day commuter bike.A big bore 2 stroke single is the last thing I'd want to do that kind of distance with everyday.....
