I wonder if the pontoon under the engine area has a air bag to keep it floating in the event of a engine failure..

If I ever figure out what I have then I can test it all and verify it works.
I don't want to sell if I can't verify.
I'll be working on it later this week.

91 CR500 STATOR WITH LIGHTING COIL

I was parting out a 91 CR500 with a odd stator and flywheel combo. The flywheel is FP5135. The stator is a 9 wire. The CDI is a 6 Wire. Looks like someone wanted lights but none were hooked up. If anybody knows what this combo is for sure I would appreciate a heads up. I have a lot of flywheel infor...

CR500 left side engine case no longer available?

So I did some checking around and it seems that some of the major retailers are no longer offering a left case. I also heard that the back orders for these left case...

Not a big surprise considering the leverage that big swingarm has over the shock. Perhaps a new spring and valving would fix you up... Then again, I'd love to see you custom fab something. You might want to PM others here that have been where your at or, contact one of the suspension companies. No d...

Either material will work fine as long as it is correctly designed. Assuming the current shock linkage and shock is working fine I would design around that concept for ease of design. That being said, if you just want something different and you like to fabricate the sky's the limit.... What can you...

Hi XTREMIST and welcome to the forum.
Sounds like you have done some interesting projects.
Post some pics when you can as we all love pics :D
You found the right form for anything CR500.
There are other forums out there but none better from a technical side.
