I have posted many times saying that I would get back to guys when I had parts in hand, etc. I try to answer every PM I get, although sometimes when i am traveling for work it might have to wait a few days. I have six complete gen. on...

Mike, I feel your pain trying to keep the masses happy and to do the best possible work for the fairest amount of money possible. In the end, the only one left unhappy will be you brother. These guys will worship your ef...

yes. You can only provide a rigid hold of the head in the vertical plane of you have a three bolt pattern. Triangulation is the key to stiffness and strength. There is also considerable stiffness offered transversely (left to right as you sit on the bike) with the additional mass and clamping force ...

Well, time for a holiday special: I have six IGNITION covers left, and they need to find good homes. That said, I'll take $125 plus shipping (approx. $12) for each. When they are gone, they are gone. FYI: if you are paying with PayPal, please add 2% to the total. Also, Bobby...you still want yours,...

I have one clutch cover left and several ignition covers left. I may also have one blank clutch cover which can be machined to either style, or at your cost, perhaps fully customized to your specification.

as a do-everything-well platform, I think the list is as short as two....The KTM 300 and a CR500AF....simple as that. The good news is that both will be roosting long after many a 250F/450F have donated their chassis to more worthy power plants. 450's in particular have come a long, long way though....

So,horses for courses I say..... Its a neverending no win argument about which bike is best. Spot on right. But, in the real world, where most guy's can afford to own only one bike, and do not have sponsorship, their bike needs to do everyting well enough to be fun, if not competitive. The AF is th...

Did they add linkage to the rear suspension yet? I have not ridden one yet but from what I hear, they're not well suited for moto-x because of physics. The lack of rear linkage would put you over the bars in the whoops...bs? I dunno - but there is a reason everyone else uses linkage. Recall the ear...

I think you would be better served t ogo 2007 or newer Danny. KTM really got thsat bike mechanically dialed for the 2007 model year. there were a few small "issues" with older models...not deal breakers mind you, but things to be aware of.

imo...the new KTM XC-W 300 with the button might be the greatest trail specific invention since the knobby! I will own one at some point. My 300 ripped in the dunes too, but........when I rode AlisoBob's 500 at Jawbone, I realized maybe for the first time what a properly running 500 really felt like...

honestly, my '07 300 XC-W was the best bike I have ever ridden.....bar none. In fact, I am officially the world's biggest DB for selling it...about two days after that picture was taken in fact. I paid $6800...rode it for almost a year, prolly put $1200 into it and sold it for $6300....not to shabby...
