Agreed--and I should have mentioned that my jetting requirements are probably leaner than his. But don't you think a 58 is probably fat in any setup?

FTR, 40.5 PWK, Boyeson RadValve, and major league porting. Yes, it surprised me how lean I had to jet the bike.

I think that's a very rich pilot jet. I'm running a 42 pilot at 300 feet elevation. Starts first kick and idles great.

If your bike has a too rich pilot in it, you may have trouble starting it when the engine is hot unless you open the throttle some. I've learned this on my bike while I waited for the right pilot jets to come in the mail.
