Ok , kinda stuck on the MSD installation , the msd unit runs off the batt. so the whole coil (spark and lighting) needs to be routed to the regulator /rectifier ... reg./rect. has 3 yellow inputs , the lighting side of the coil has 2 yellow outputs and the ignition side has a white and a blue.... OK...

Do ya think I could wire the stock box to the S.H. stator ? .. I have the MSD unit But that will require a total rewire of the bike , I have all ready wired it twice and still have not ridden it.

Ok, tried to fire it up again I lowered the gap to .009 tried the S.H. rabbit kick,,.. it kicked me back.. I put a little gas in the cyl then kicked it,,. she went ping ping ping then , wham kick back thru the kick starter, ? is it normal for the 500 to want to kick back thru the kick starter when t...

Didn't mean to come across as a dick... this thing has just got me flustered I will try to move the sensor closer, when I checked it it was at the S.H. recommended gap.

I am just about at whits end trying to get this thing started, got spark... got gas... also have had a couple of horrible kickbacks one of witch put me out of commission for a few days where the kick starter took a chunk out of my calf, Anyway, trying to figure this out. The Service Honda Ignition has 2 Black W Yellow stripe wires that plug into the wire from the coil , Problem is I have only 1 wire from the coil.. do I Siamese these and use both or just plug in one ?

((Seems strange the motor straight in the frame would contact the spring; spring is centered in the frame/swing arm; 125, 250 or 4 poker. Is it a stock intake? Gen 3 frames are cheap, using the TTM Y and some new rails would not be a whole lot of work and little Dremel time. Opt to a CR250 or CRF 25...
