the gen 1s don't handle much better than the steel frame the gen 2s handle great compared to the steel never rode a gen 3 the gen 4 is the best handleing AF. these are my opinions that are based on non converted bikes. I've ridden them all and the Gen. 3 CR (not CRF) is the best. The Gen.4 is great...

Plus, if I remember right, '04 SH bikes were based on either the 125 chassis (LE) or the CRF250, never the CR250.

Nope, forks are fresh, never even rode with them since they were done. Didn't think about the engine, I can't remember if I drained the oil or Shannon did. The shock would be the only thing I couldn't be certain about, but I was told that it was great, complete and ready to bolt on.

2 strokes will never come back, sorry. Yes people will ride them, build them etc. but the manafacturers won't make them ever again. Making motorbikes is a business, and companies like Honda are in it for the money. 2 strokes just don't equate to as much income, that's the main reason they started m...

I just noted the title change in this post.

I wouldn't really say it was a joint effort by myself and PP, more like a joint effort between Bob, ShanMan, and PP. Most of the stuff I did, P&P had to redo.

He has the the PC Racing airbox ring on his between the boot and airbox, plus extra silicon to be safe, so it doesn't have the stock problems. I never had any dirt or water get in.

Re: Air Box which one works for each gen?

I need to know which one for the gen 3, but can we get a list of what works for all gens starting with gen 1? You'll be just fine with the stock one. From what I've heard, if I remember right, get the carb clamped into the airbox first, then clamp the carb onto the manifold. I heard some guys say t...

Re: Quannell X chased away from protesting

In case you haven't heard, there was a local guy (Joe Horn) in Pasadena, Texas that shot and killed two buglars. Quannell X is a Houston wanna be Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton and is constantly playing the race card regardless whether it applies to the situation or not. He and some of his idiot foll...

Pulled the motor today. Took off the piston for the bridge relief, and the drilling of the piston. I also spliced the killswitch wires, took off the swingarm for the spacers, and pulled the throttle cable for the new throttle assembly boot to be affixed. That motor is in the frame tight! No biggy t...

I don't think Randy had any intention of selling parts for conversions. I had shown him what the plan was for my bike, since he was building his own at the time and had expierimented(sp?) with one frame without the results he wanted. He never mentioned about wanting to make kits or anything like tha...

what do you have? A pile of parts! Gen.3. I just need to mod a radiator, lace up a new front wheel, and assemble with all the brand new parts. Then she'll be all done. I wouldn't really sell it(Maybe I would). But if you showed up at my door with that YZ, I'd probably trade (for the pile of parts)!...
