So after all those pretty pics. I ripped into the top end. Not pretty, the crank blew over .040 side gap and the cylinder looked out of round? Had the stop sign drag marks..... So I have my work cut out for me. Gonna have a beer and some tunes while I think about this.... http://www.youtube.com/watc...

After reading and reading. I found an article that stated the DOMA system really wakes this bike up. The only person that use to import them, Grant Langston's dad...no longer imports them due to Euro/Dollar trade off. Granted, this is my woods bike. Different from desert bike where the 500 reigns. I...

Needs to be leaned out off the bottom and maybe one size down on the main. Once in the power and the pipe comes on its begs for more....fun. It doesn't have the hit of the 500 obviously. Very light and its TURNS!!! This is going to take some getting use to. Its fast for a 250. Going to have to drop ...

Dieter's CR250 Projekt
Lemme get this outta the way. I am a 500 rider, nothing thrills like the pipe of a CR500. I did have other 500's, a pristine 2001 sold to Lewisclan. My 89, she is gorgeous to me. I built it from roach to almost brand new. I want to preserve that. I will still ride my 89'er but only on special rides ...

Yep Bobby Special...he turned me onto this many years ago and deserves a revisit.... I love all sorts of cool gadgetry....as long as it serves a purpose and works. Bobber turned me onto this several years back. I put one on the 500 and love it. Its simple, and makes life easy. http://www.ziptyracing...

**Gen 3 CR/CRF Plus** I wanted to try something a bit stronger that the OE guard. I have had good luck with the Scotts Billet guard that I have on my 500....that thing can take a beating and shrug it off. However, I wanted to try to save some weight. I did consider the Zip-Ty shark fin--not in stock...

Catching this up over here... Mojo: For those coming along and NOT riding: http://www.silverwoodthemepark.com/ Is right here. Literally 10 minutes from my house, no more than an hour and a half from any of the camp sites, except Manastash. You can actually camp there. If you want to camp in a nice s...

Ok, talked to Mojo. I was pushing for spring to keep the dust down. I think doing this on a holiday weekend such as July 4th would a good time-frame. We will be looking at Idaho more so than Washington. Why? Because Spokane is closer if someone wants to fly in. An exact location and date will be ham...

Cycra Probends (originals)
I looked and did not see this on a glance. Figured I would add it in. Slow progress, been TDY..just got back early yesterday morning and went right into work to receive a brand spankin new jet--no rest for the weary. Got home and started to unwind and saw a box on my work-bench. My Cycra's finally g...

So I got an idea.... I have talked to a few guys and they are really excited about the idea of having group/site ride up here in the PNW. I threw this at Mojoscojo. Some things to ponder: 1) This is not the desert...roots and mud are not your friend. 2) Will be something for everyone....C all the wa...

Ju say ribs? I snagged a few racks of baby backs a while and they came out awesome! Here is what I did: I had 4-5 good side racks that are marbled a bit and not too much fat. I got them home and unwrapped them...flipped them over to the concave side. Jabbed a fork under the white membrane till I co...

Stuffed Breasts I like chicken! I had my wife make the dressing for these, which I do not have the recipe. Use what you like..stove top whatever. Get some good side breasts and slice em open like a Pita...stuff em full. Fire up the weber and place the breasts right along the back of the grill. This...
