I honestly think that my next bike, either a 2 or 4 stroke will be a KTM. They are only ones that have really stuck with the 2 stroke and I like their lineup of bikes in general, many to chose from. BTW, a yammy 250 2t aint cheap neither, none of them are.

Looks like you got lucky. BTW I have the same engine in my 03 cr250 and was wondering what jetting you run, I seem to be running a little rich (spooge) but my pilot is stock and I've read that most believe you should go up on the pilot. A little confusing.

Ok so I just checked the sag on my new bike (03cr250), and its got less thank 50mm sag in the front. Now I'm pretty sure it has heavier springs, does anyone know what year springs will work for these forks? I'm thinking from 97 and up CR, is this right? I need stock ones, I weigh 175lbs. I think one of the biggest improvements in terms of handling/cornering is that in 05, Honda moved the front axle back a bit and so gave the bikes better cornering, thats something one can do without buying a Gen 4 bike. Also if the rear shocks improved, they will most likely fit too.

I'm pretty close to sea level too and I went to a 50 pilot and it seems to run much better and idle. And try the third position first and if that doesnt work goto 2nd on the needle.
