Wow, looks like a lot of people got a Go Pro for Xmas. Yes that little sticky 3M camera mount is very tough. I had a tree branch try to snatch the camera off my helmet and it held strong. The bark is still stuck in the part of the mount that screws to the camera but no damage whatsoever. The battery...

86 CR500, were they really the most powerful of all the year

I'm new to the forum and CR500's so if there is a post on this somewhere already please let me know. The reason I'm asking is a friend of mine called me this weekend and we started talking our bikes. He currently has a 91 KX500 but back in the day he said he had an 86 C500. He claims that it was the...

Whats the weight of the stock cast piston? That's the weight the crank should be balanced at from the factory and that should be the weight of any new piston (give or take a few grams) that is hung on the rod. Regardless of bore size, brand or material used the pistons should stay within a few grams...

hard to say why the shuffling. figure they should of had it sorted out 10+ years ago. Most of the changes are due to R&D, feedback from race teams and some engineer thinking he has a new idea to make the piston lighter, stronger and better performing in some way. The last variation with the coa...

I installed a set of the VForce reeds last year and they seemed to be a pretty straight forward proceedure. Just cut the ears off and they were a tad bit snug going in but I wouldn't say they were tight. I've ridden quite a few times since the install and they are working great.

IRC M5B = WIN! I love mine - been great so far! I understand that but I was more interested in what size you are running? I'm thinking of going with the same 130/80 -18 size I have now. Well I am running it on my gen2 AF, which has a 19" wheel. Unfortunately, they only offer a 110/90/19 for my...

I have a 95 CR500 and the current tire is a Michelin S12 XC I believe with a size of 130/80-18. I'm looking at this IRC M5B with those huge lugs and wanted to know if that same size will fit? Motorcycle Superstore is having a big sale on tires right now so I'm thinking of picking one up. Where I rid...

CR 500 Hinson Billet Clutch Basket $197.62 shipped

Hello everyone, I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this but what the hell here it goes. I recently bought a 95 CR500 for $1500.00 from a guy at work that got the itch for a street bike and just needed it gone. It was pretty much re-done from top to bottom BUT I think some parts that were...
