Rhino's AF rides

O.K I'm going to start littering this part of the site since this place is dead and needs action. Bob's AF has begun an extremely tough portion of it's life and has begun to get the shit beat out of it. I'm sure you have read my other posts and know I'm digging it. I'll post some pictures but be war...

Rode it again last night, tweaking a little on suspension. I can't believe how well it turns and yet it's totally stable. Hasn't head shook me yet...and this thing tracks straight through the whoops. I rode Friday and mixed it up with some dudes running expert plates...no problem hanging. I can't wa...

Riding impressions. This thing fucking turns!!! If I was racing the old me on my steely I could stuff it inside my old self and blast so easy. The vibes are minimal they seem to vibrate at a slightly different resonance but they don't bother me at all. All the motor crap is exactly what I am used to...

I like that one....pretty much exactly how I like it!!! Kind of looks like a girl I hung around with for a while who was Polish and Spanish....so hot and such a pain in the ass. Like a pit-bull golden retriever cross...internal turmoil in her head right out of the gate. I can't wait to rip this thin...

No sneaking here.....my wife is a teacher and I end up having to make appearances at dinner parties and stuff where I have zero in common with any of the other ladies husbands. It would make for some horrible go pro footage and all I can think about is "do your time dude, we are ripping with th...

The peg mounts make a big difference, when I was sitting on the bike it was weird. It was like man this thing feels tiny and light and yet huge in the cockpit....big fan of this thing so far. I can't wait to ride it, it feels great and I think I am going to be able to turn!!! Thanks Bob, So stoked t...

Seat felt fine just sitting on it in the garage, the cockpit on this thing feels killer, I opened it up even more with my bars that I run. Around here it's a little faster than it is in Arizona. I know I got tagged like the fastest sit down rider on the planet or something along those lines by Tracy...

I gave in.....I've been getting smoked in the whoops on my CR by the 20 year olds I've been riding with. I get them in the rocks and nasty stuff easy and I can hang in the whoops pretty good on my XR but that sucker is a chore in the rocks....so I'm hoping this is a playing field leveler. Bike is in...

I'm OK with the IT rear, never really hooks up great but always gets it done and wears like Iron, total bitch to mount with a super stiff sidewall. The desert IT front on the other hand is not at all my favorite or anywhere close. I hate the IT front.

Man I hope in 10 years when I retire I can still ride good enough and something like this becomes available a little closer to home. That is the dream job!!! Yeah nothing goes straight as well as the M5B second to the VE33 but both of them stand the bike straight up when you hit the gas, they don't turn well.....but I run that 33 sometimes on the back of my XR650R and it slides around and turns fine.

My bad, guess I meant the lower 48, I actually was sort of thinking that when I typed it. Anyway if you get stuff from Canada the shipping kills you...more so than Alaska, doesn't make sense.

Man I looked at the Mitas...kind of a Canada thing for now it looks, you can get them here but the shipping from Canada plus price puts it at two of anything else. They have almost zero selection on ebay, and they have a very limited distribution network in North America....like none.

Mounted backwards the cups are turned the same direction as the M5B and in my opinion it hooks up better. I love shooting hills and have some great ones behind the house. Many of them the lower half is sandy/shaley and then turns to rock at the top. If your tire wont dig and generate speed at the bo...

I run tubes, the fatest I can get, currently running the STI's from Rocky Mountain. Mojo those M5B's are cooked like knobs flying off everywhere after 2 rides behind my house. I will admit I love hillclimbing and have many behind my house that have not been topped. The dirt behind my house is the ha...

Fix it, zap it up and forget about it, but you don't want holes in the frame. They rust up in there anyway, I can't imagine filling it with mud, water, snow, whatever would help slow the rust.
