I've heard about this climb for awhile down here in So Cal over the years and I found a little info on it. Est. in 1915, the climb was claimed to be the one of the century, with the best riders in the world and 35,000 spectators. Unfortunately the 405 freeway goes through the site of where the climb...

Thats the bike I copied to make my Twin CR. The rider is Jean Claude Anere and the photo is from Arette. One motor is actually a 540. Sweet bike for its time.
