Alisobob and Solid, what are the differences if any between your builds? I know bobs has a longer wheelbase but did that affect the conversion at all? I have read of guys having to clock their motors or modify their pipe for clearance on the gen 4 250 chassis. did either of you have clearance issues...

I'm not even sure what you meant by this.... most boots have a steel toe, use it  and why is it that no one that rides in AZ or CA responded? Only 2 dudes from Canada. Has anyone ever dealt with Game and Fish or Park Rangers checking both the frame and engine #'s? I have had the VIN checked, b...

I got this in an email today.... I looked it and it is factual! what a stupid bitch Black hurricanes....Well, it appears our African-American friends have found yet something else to be pissed about. A black congresswoman (this would be Sheila Jackson Lee, of Houston), reportedly complained that the...

A "proven" solution was defined as 100 degrees proof. This has since been found to occur at 57.15% ethanol. The British still use this definition, although only the ABV system is used to mark bottles for sale. A simpler ratio to remember is 7:4, i.e. 70 degrees proof is approximately 40% ...

2007 CRF250

So i ended up trading a bunch of old four wheeler parts for a 07 CRF250 chassis with everything except for the wheels. can anyone here tell me which wheels other than a CRF250 will work? Also, i noticed that the gen 4 service hondas use the 250x airbox setup. I assume this is a lot easier than the R...

Those arnt "cracks", that happens when they cast things. Every bike I have ever had apart has those "shrink lines", dont worry. Also, 2 stroke jugs all have areas where the OEM does "touch ups" after the sleeve and jug have been cast together. Its not "porting&quo...

So i finally pulled the jug off my the engine and found there is no porting. why would there be a hole drilled to run a vacuum pump and not even have it ported? also, I noticed a couple lil cracks on the cases. https://bannedcr500riders.com/images/auto/3d70846a893a8e56d5de31e52b1da24a.jpg https://ba...

I definately planned on tearing it down if it was either alky or nitrous. guess I cant be too upset since I only paid $400 for a '98 engine. I saw the hole right away and questioned buying it, but I knew for that price it wouldn't be there long. He never ran it becuase it was for a TRX conversion th...

I wonder how much harder it would be with that pre made "Y". If made properly, it should be a fairly simple conversion I imagine, correct?
