if you do the torch, get deep well freeze plugs. i had a little one from the hardware store. there wasn't enough rubber to hold it in with the pressure.

cool, it's down by the detention center? I will meet you at the split of the 138 and 173. otherwise it is like 15 miles out of the way in the wrong direction. if it is the miller creek staging area, then we are cool. so i will just wait to hear for sure from Al.

I am in. do you come up the hill from the chevron or do you ride from that staging spot off the 15? I am in Hesperia and don't want to drive down the hill to drive up the hill. do you go up 138 from the 15?

yeah they are both required but the rangers i have run into care more about the pass than anything else. wish i was going. I am sitting with 12 1st graders listening to them read. it is a really rewarding job to watch a child learn, but not as cool as riding

We used to use yellow fiberglass insulation on my old 125 when i was growing up. we had a lot left over from building the house. my dad said it was what they used to do in the "old days". It worked, i don't know about performance but it does silence the bike, so give it a go

i am wanting to go riding this saturday but can't find anyone to ride with. is anyone planning on going out this weekend on the 17th? I can hang with just about any skill level so i won't slow you down. just want to have a good time with a dirtbike and don't feel comfortable going out myself.
