Service manuals are golden.
For instance, I struggled to get the engine out of my '85.
Then read the manual step by step and it was revealed to take it out the opposite side.
At the very least, go online and get a parts breakdown and it will tell you if there is such a switch.

I know what you mean about the legal thing. There is a thrill about getting away with it. Beer for instance. Incredible thrill to break the law back in the day. In Fla at the time you could drink at 18. Just before my birthday we moved to Alabama where the legal age was 19, and I lived in a dry coun...

Hoons?

I admit I've done this but, I was 14 at the time. 1974 YZ125, Seminole Fla. Florida Highway patrol, got away after a really close call. 2 hours later he was in my driveway when I pulled up. Guess I had more of a rep than I thought. http://youtu.be/KqqojXBjYxU Also, got caught skipping school and rid...

I like the ice racing dude sliding it out there at whatever fast speed that is at the very end too. Yeah, that was pretty cool. Big nads for sure :) In my youth, I probably would have done all of that stuff, did do some. Trouble now, my situational awareness is a lot slower. Case in point, flipping...

Hoon riding

Don't know if this has been widely seen or not.
Impressive KX jumping dunes about halfway through and very impressive high speed wheelies on a CR towards the end.
Pretty much worth the time to watch. Enjoy :)

That may be true and I can see it but, on the vintage bikes it was just a straight swap usually. Very rarely the stem would be a tad too long and would have to be shimmed. All my '74 YZ125's had 28mm forks, I swapped 34mm clamps stems and all. The particular time I was referring to with my friend ha...

You know, it's kinda funny how the steering stem thing is. I used to buddy with a guy that had hundreds of vintage bikes and a shop full of equipment, until it burned up. He always searched for these forks and those to fit what he needed because all the vintage bikes had skinny forks. One day he was...

Its cheap to keep the lights on .... its never been about the money. Its more like..... why? Everything runs its natural course. This site is no different. Thoughts? It's about the same as a netflix subscription. $135 will buy a year, $300 will get 3 years. Bob spends more than that on lunch these days. (I've seen pics ;-P)

Fort Hood

Here it is 2 days after the second shooting at Fort Hood. Just watched a news conference and they have 150 investigators from fed, state and local. Really? He did it and he's dead. Nothing else matters. The one fact that no one will talk about is, it was a free fire zone and he knew it. Only when co...
