I like the XRL the best of all the street legal whales. I had a KLR and I have ridden the DR650 and had XT's. The KTM is the best pure dirtbike but the XRL does pretty good and is bulletproof. I love the 650R but they take a special breed to enjoy and for some can be a bitch to kick especially when ...

I run Fatty's, Gnarlys and the stock pipes. Years ago when the E-line was available they would rub the cover because it stuck way out and we would have to dent the pipe in a bit to get it all to fit. What pipe will fit and we will run that or dent the pipe to clear it. If there is a way to make it w...

I have not thrown a leg over one but I think they look pretty cool. My Buddy at work has a KTM 950 and I have ridden that, I also used to own a GS1100 BMW and I think this is kind of the market they are after. The GS's are fun on the street but are total whales in the dirt and any comparison to a di...

I think you should sell them as you proposed, importing the parts in to then export them out sounds like extra cash you have to push on. People either have to know how to split a set of cases or get someone to do it. If you are able to split cases you should be able to figure out the electricals. Ju...

Figured I'd hit a little update in here. I rode Bob's old bike through Hoonfest and for the week after. To be honest I'm not sure if I am really all that much faster on that thing than I was on a Steely but it just makes it easier. I guess I'm getting old so I just go at the speed I go and thats it....

Hoonfest 2016
Hoonfest was a blast again this year. I believe the 500 craze might really be dead, not many 500's left out there riding, all Gas Gas, Husky, and KTM. Great rides with good guys, fun camping, added guns and shooting to the mix this year which made the after ride activities enjoyable. Happy to announ...

will you be able to buy it in pieces, meaning if you come out with the stator rotor deal first can we buy that and then move it over to your cases when the electric start comes out? I have an old eline but I never use it because it weights down the flywheel and takes all the fun away, then it sticks...

I'm not really sure how this would go, we definetly need some sort of a decent charging system as well to run it. Currently if you can find an eline they are like $700, $300 for the starer or whatever, $100 for a decent battery. You have more meat on the case plus some sort of flywheel mod. You are ...

I think the cases are all gone, but I could be wrong if you could get one yes I believe it would work other than the lack of black paint on it. all the motors are interchangeable from top to bottom ends from 1989 up. The 1989 and 1990 I think used one less clutch plate and the 1993 and up went with ...

I check in here everyday and am ready to lay down cash on an electric start version of a cr 500 motor the second it is ready as long as the kickstarter still remains as well. I am very excited about it if it comes to fruition. Thanks for keeping us in the loop and I wish your company well your produ...

Any thought of hogging a hole in the side for a little KTM style electric starter....I'm on one tomorrow if you do. I have zero problems kicking mine over and all that but I ride all technical stuff, sometimes the only way I can get a good kick when I flail and bail is using the left foot and I'm 6'...

I think there are posts on here about Hot Rods, I think they need some welding or something to make them work. Good luck on the frame, that is thin, I think you are going to have to replace those down tubes to get it right, frames are cheap, but I hear you o the street legal thing. Vertex seems to b...

Those snow bikes look fun as hell...especially if you put the turbo kit on there, have you seen the videos for the turbo kit from Boondocker...looks so fun. As far as Rhino's wreath service's go, I miss days like those.......married going on 15 years and the wife doesn't seem nearly as excited to pu...

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee481/rhino89523/th_IMG_2559_zps0up9iusx.mp4 Makes me want a snow bike kit. Rode my CR two days before I rode the XR in the snow. I was going to ride the CR again but blew out a waterpump seal. Pretty funny, the morning we took the snow video I was all butter nut...

On the slide it will only seat one way. When you put it in the wrong way it goes about halfway down. When you put it in the right way it will seat to the bottom. The wrong way I've never done and screwed the cap on but I think the throttle would feel really weird. Make sure your cable is seated in t...
