I'm gonna go out on a limb and say dont waste your time replacing the bearing.Your hard clutch pull isnt being caused by the clutch arm bearing. Its always bathed in oil and is the least stressed bearing in the entire engine. Unless the engine has sat outside for the past 15 years full of water.,tha...

1. Buying a loose engine most likely is buying someone elses headache. 2. You have never heard it run 3. You have never felt it shift 4. You got to see the condition of the rest of the bike the motors coming out of. As far as selling off the remains...... Selling the wheels, shock, forks, brakes, a...

I've seen ebay guys spend $1300, just for the motor... Bob,Just wondering why you are constantly trying to de-value the worth of just an engine? The guy wants 2k for the bike and just for giggles he might come down a little. Even if he did do $1750.00 for the bike , the guy that spent 1300.0...

Wow...A steal of a deal. I still say hold on to it and change goggles. Going to an HJC from that Shoei is like going from a Caddy to an Escort.
Nice shots by the way.....I know you didnt take those with a point and shoot.....

Keep the Shoei and try a different goggle. Those Voltage goggles have not fit right in my past 3 helmets. My favs are the new Smith's.They fit in My VFX-DT and My Suomy with no pinched nose problems.

The way to go now appears to buy a running bike, and part it out, minus the motor. Or just buy a complete engine that you can afford, fix what you think it needs to make it right and forget about it. The process of selling to this guy a part here....another guy a part here...the first guy bitching a...

The 92-01 CR250 have the same bolt pattern. Not sure on the 02 on up but could check if you absolutley have to know. I'm really doubting any of the 4 stroke guards will work. If you dont run the plastic guard,at least use the aluminum part that mounts under the plastic guard. It will half way save yo...

If you've got one laying around, try it out. I put a Mikuni TM flat slide on a XR600 (two stroke carb) . I dont know if a 4 stroke specific carb would be backwards compatible on the two stroke though.
