i took the stator side cover off, it was dry, checked timing, checked spark, everything was good took off air box, took off carb, took of reed cage and cleaned them... reed cage had a little unburnt oily gas on the reeds and the carb was clean... i put the #50 back in and im going to take it to the ...

Pilot too big IMO. If you got your carb new, the guys jet them very fat so it's you that blows your bike up jetting the carb. My carb came setup for me by a site vendor but was drastically fat. thats where all the fast bikes hang out(: if it runs good on a 60 then the obvious problem is bad very bad crank seals or masive air leak....

all of the 41s ive got have low slows like 48s and I run at 2500 ft to sea level my mind is telling me check the timeing..... i cant see why it would be so far off on jetting.. i would think a #50 would be perfect. im thinking a air leak somewhere but everything is sealed good... first thing tonigh...

i will check the pickup sensor but i am getting good spark....

i have the idle screw all the way into just to keep it ideling on a 55 pilot... i will be getting a 58 and a 60 tomorrow

wonder where i can get fresh reeds for the boyseen cage?

starts somewhat easy after it is warm....

i just need to get it started so i can dyno this mutt!

if not ill have to take it 2 hrs to a dif. dyno that has a bump starter

jetting help! cant get it to start!

So got the cr500 back together and i cant get it to start.
If i pull start it, it starts right up! Im getting good solid kicks in and get nothing...

it doesnt idle well, idle screw is very far in!

41.5 pwk

suit yourself brotha but i can asure you ill get alot more than 5.5 with that cpi on my AF. no doubt.... post your results... ill be hitting the dyno within a week! we leave the 26th... well my 42.5mm pwk comes in tomorrow... need to get some oils and fuel for it then this guy is pretty much done besides dyno tuneing!

was that a std power rating? you need to set the smoothing to 5 so those graphs are easily compared and readings look better! have any pictures of the AF curves?
