I would highly suggest building a pod intake setup of some sort. Some guys do build shields to keep the track from throwing snow on the back of the engine and carb.

It should be a mean machine when you get it all set up! I don't think you'll regret going with the RAW as far as track length, I ride with a few guys who used to ride LT's and switched to the ST and have no complaints. I'm not sure if the shocks on the RAW are any different than what's on my 15 ST b...

In the process of trying to correct the suspension geometry on my 98 CR500 I learned a few things I didn't know so I thought I'd share. This bike is a bit of a mutt, the main frame is a 1998 but the rest of the bike was 1990 parts, only the main frame had been swapped (for what reason I don't know)....
