I've always heard f the piston doesn't fit in the new cylinder, you should whack it in with a hammer until it fits! But I prefer to buy octogon shaped pistons.

I rode my freinds new 08" Kawasaki 450, what a piece of junk! Worst motor I've ever ridden, felt like it was going to blow up so I handed it back to him and never wanted to ride it again. Rode a 08 Yamaha 450, one of the best bikes I ever rode, awesome.

Absolutely! Iwould cut down a muffler like that one you did Clyde and see if it runs good. That stinger is cool, but I value my hearing to much to run that loud a bike.

You gotta love that! It's a bitchen bike too, no way it doesn't sell for that when all the SH ones are so much more. I know I wouldn't ask any less for mine.

I want to hear the ride report. If this thing boosts the top end substantialy, I will get one. That's the one thing about the 500's I don't like is the falling on it's face in 5th gear pinned, it needs over rev badly for the riding I do. That expansion chamber gives hope that it will over rev alot.

Don't you have insurance? Not to be a dick but that's what the cops told me when my bike got ripped. You have zero chance of getting it back, unless you personally do the legwork because the cops won't.

We got pounding snow all day here. I love that, and driving in it is sweet too.

Seems like a better choice than a cr500 motor if all it needs is the mounts made.
