Like these? Do you have to change the tabs to mount them, and the tabs for the shrouds? I was trying to get Fluidyne rads but they don't have one for a 91 500. Fluidyne Powersports Power-Flo Off-Road Radiator FPS11CRF450X FPS11CRF450X By increasing the efficiency of the cooling system, Power-Flo rad...

The motor you have is fine, you can swap in the later gears to make it the same as a 93+ motor. The CR500 rads are so-so at best. You might look into swapping on on CRF rads. My motor runs much cooler in my CRF chassis than it ever did in the CR chassis. I have the Honda OEM fan kit for the CRF rad...

Dual sport CR 500 What motor will fit.
I have a 91 CR 500 that is plated.
I was wondering what year motors will fit, this bike.
I want the wide ratio tranny.
What are the best radiators,
Been looking at the Warp 9.
I want to add the fans.
Who would you guys recommend to build my motor.(SO Cal.)

How about a loop I know some good ones, no need for the chase truck, and you can be home before the rain. As the transportation for this ride seems SNAFU-ed anyways, I think that is an excelent idea Craig. I'm out for the Mojave Trail ride. Cool, you make the call. I hope this will work with ...

I read most of that thread and I think it is the organizer's fault, not Spot's. I think the results would be different if there was not an event going on but just my opinion. I have talked to other people who have them and they say that they work great. I would rather have it and never use it than ...

I agree with Hammer, just pony up for a GPS unit and a RAM mount. This will fit all of your needs. Get a good GPS and you can lead the rides or a crappy one will fill your trip/speed/dist info. Let me know if you need some suggestions. Something I forgot mention is to get a hard wire kit for your G...

What you will need is a Garmin 60 CSX. I use one on my 650L and my CR500. Desert Dash It's one of my favorite DS. rides Feb 19-20 20
I do this ride every year. You navigate with a GPS. and a roll chart. Saturday is about 170 miles, and Sunday is about 130. The campground it is held at is Butterfield Ranch. Check it out. Saturday night, they provide dinner, and a raffle, I got a tire one year some gloves another year. This 2 day d...
