Thanks! I didn't know if there was a decomp when i ordered it, but i guess it's like it use to be. Starts easy when jetted right :=). The port timing is quite high on these, so i guess they aren't that hard to kick. I sit down when i start my other 500.

I'm intrested of these big bore kits. I have plans of building a big power engine for my iceracing season here in Sweden. are the kits ready for sale complete with all that's needed? What carb is recommended to use for this package, and what power can i count on to achieve with the right pipe?

We dynoe'd a stock 1991 with street tire and it gave 48 hp at the wheel. Mine gave 63 at the wheel, 1999 model, same engine but some work done to it of course.

Barnett carbon fibre clutch installed.

Now i have changed my clutch that was slipping. The old one looked good and only had about 25 hours on it, but it didn,t hold up so good. Now it was another story! Very satisfyed with the new clutch. I feel that the springs ate tougher and the feeling of the clutch engaging/disengaging is better. Th...

You will be much happier with the DGM/DGN or CGM/CGN needles. The base diameter of the standard needle is made to be able to work in very cold conditions to avoid engine seizure. Factory safety precaution. I have all different needles and at the moment i'm using the DGN at 4th clip at sealevel aroun...

Which clutch is good for tuned supermoto 500?

Hi guys. I have an almost new clutch in my 500, but it can't hold up when the torque is coming at WOT. That clutch i have now is regular fibre clutch with heavy duty springs. What do you recommend? I was thinking of a barnett carbon fibre kit. Is this the way to go? I will put my recent clutch in on...

This is how my thermostats are mounted. One on each side. KTM 2-stroke from around year 2000. Works perfect. I have been iceracing the whole winter and now i use my 500 on the streets.
