The 500 is CRF450R based, the 250 is CRF250R based. Here's a pic of the 250.

Below is the 250. HRC on TT said they were built by some Italian company.

Drilled 3/8" holes for plug welds and assembled the Y w/extensions and 3/4" inserts. Once I cut some relief at the 1" tubing/OE cradle junction this part will be ready for the welder.

Hmmm, perhaps some more filing is in order.

Got a little more done today. Cut the 1" tubing, 3/4" inner bar to 3" and dry fit the Y and tubing to make sure I had the angle correct.
