Here in Ontario the gas is 76 cents per liter and still dropping. I'm not sure what that equals to our American neighbors, but i like this new trend.
Finally people will feel like taking more trips and spend there money which can only help the economic situation we are in.

Playboy After Dark

Check out this cool vid taken at Hugh Heffners mansion. There are some more videos of other classic bands on the show like Canned Heat, Gratefull Dead, and Deep Purple, but the ones with Grand Funk Railroad are my favorite. Did anyone watch this show back in the day? Was it very popular? If I could ...

I notice a positive difference when running Shell gas in my Cutlass which is carburated. Easier starting in the cold and better mileage. Your not likely to see this starting issue in fuel injected cars but mileage is better. Shell gas has the right combination of additives to combat side effects of ...

Don't get me wrong. Mikes welds are the shiznit. Notice how nice and flat they are with no peaks sticking way up. The straight parallel lines along the edges. The work of a pro. It's all in the prep work as well. Fin Land is just something I made up because I ride a Free Air 500 with the huge coolin...

Those welds look fine by me. Finally, someone who doesn't weave when they weld  . A straight push weld always looks cleaner, smoother and is stronger. If I see one more weave weld I'm going to puke.
Weaving is only good for making whicker baskets. Or finger painting.

Mitch Mitchell

Unfortunately Mitch passed away earlier this week. The last surviving member of The Jimi Hendrix Experience was only 62. Rock'n Roll has lost another one of the originals.

This is what I came up to get my bike to where I'm going. I built it out of 2" 1\4" wall HSS and 3\8 plate. I then put 5\8 bolts through the foot pegs and the plate into nuts that are welded on the bottom of the plate. I also punched some 3\4" holes in the corners of the plate so i ca...

honestly what i would do if i had short rod motor: have teem trubble make aluminum plate and weld it to the bottom end then use 144mm rod  . or you could weld it to the cylinder I just would like to keep the engine original if possible. Your idea may work, and I will keep it in mind. Using an...

I saw AC/DC at SARS Fest in Toronto back a few years ago and they put on an amazing show. There sound and energy out did the Stones performance by a mile. As soon as AC/DC hit the stage the atmosphere of the concert turned into the worlds biggest party :bong: :clink: :buddies: :blur:!

CR 500 Short rod availabillity

This winter I am rebuilding the engine in my 84 and need to find a new short connecting rod. Even better would be a crank and rod assembly that to me is just more worth while. My old original assembly is likely more trouble then it's worth to rebuild. Any thoughts on the subject will be greatly appr...
