Haha.... I have been pretty weak on my riding as of late, I finished out the summer boating and have been busting ass to finish my backyard with a shit ton of pavers, new hot tub, fresh lawn...all that crap. Then in the evenings I go into the workshop and have been working on the Timbersled snowbike...

My airbox plan was going to be basically cut the back off of it so I still had the sides but the filter would be flapping in the wind, then I was going to run a dry unoiled new filter with a flappy skin over it. Then I was going to starp down a tunnelbag from the brake to the rear. Do people cover t...

The shocks are supposed to be a downgrade over the 2017 ST an LT but when you push on the back of the thing it feels good...plus in my mind you are on snow, I used to huck myself of cliffs with the suspension in my knees so I am thinking I'll be O.K. I am a pretty big guy, over time I have figured o...

Getting my stuff ready to go!!
I saw that Roosty had added this section, figured I'd be the first to post. I have never ridden a snow bike so I bought one. I got a timbersled raw 120....my thinking on this sled is this. Yes I am a big guy but I live near Tahoe and our snow is affectionately known as the Sierra cement, I'm thinkin...

I had a bunch...sold them to buy Bob's AF thinking I have everything I need for steely's...then I started building this snow bike and the only tank I have left is the Clark with the holes that go through the tank...I think I am going to have to hang the rectifier for the electric start on the back o...

looking for desert steely tank in white or clear
pretty much exactly as the title says, if you have one I want it, the only one I don't want is the kind where the front bolt holes run through the tank.

Haha...I burn fuel always, it's just the question of what it's getting burned in. Summer time I burn more fuel in the XR than the CR because of the license plate and distances I'm able to go on a full desert tank on the XR. I also burn a ton through the boat in the summer, I dig dangling off the rop...

Still moto-ing This picture was taken by my good friend Dolf, we have been riding together for 25 years or so now, he was one of my groomsmen in my wedding, I consider him one of my best friends. We have probably only said a few hundred words to each other over the years, we just moto. He is one of ...

Well sinjce there is nothing for today on this site I will add a little...no pictures because I just don't end up taking them. I am still in love with the AF, I rode the piss out of it Sunday and it works perfect for me. The only issue I really have with it is fuel capacity. I love riding this bike ...

Been on the XR
O.K. I love my AF i got from Bob, but when I am riding alone most of the time I prefer my XR. My XR is plated so I can go explore and road it home if need be. My XR will do well over 100 miles of blasting on a tank. My XR is a couch, it's big and it blasts through whatever you throw at it with ease....

No, I would do it again in a minute but only with other people's money. I am going to France with the family this year, and the guy who was paying for me went to South America on a motorcycle so I'm not sure it's his dream anymore now that we finished. That chapter may have passed....I'm turning int...
