Honda manual carb settings.
The question is what do you guys think of the factory set up settings for altitude and temperature outlined in the factory manual, good or bad? O.K. a little background, I have read all the carb set up stickys. My bike is bone stock. I am not much of a fiddler, I pretty much ride whatever is underne...

Here is ours, the picture with the Blazer in it, the machine is past the Blazer so its not like it is launching it on the blazer. If it was at 5000 tons per hor the Blazer would be done.

Hey here at work we have a 5000 ton per hour 1000hp Cat motor driven Kodiak. Ribben is like 8' wide and 5' tall and the shoot I can climb into and I am not a small guy. The thing will rip the bark off of trees if you aim it at them, it will blow bowling ball size rocks without braking shear pins, an...

Dead engine starts I like the kicker. Nice and warm, second gear, clutch in, just past TDC, kick it and launch in one motion, feel a little bad for launching off case and kicker like that, and I'm sure it contributed to blowing out that corner of the case, but straight up you are out, later to every...

My knees are about the only thing on me football didn't ruin, but I would still like ES. In weight what are we talking a couple lbs? Man I unload the Huckstable's every morning that weigh more than that. Every time I hear those KTM's churning off a button I get pissed and flip off my bro's that ride...

Bearoso, I hear you. There are many times I would love one, and I would ride my 500 to my, and its grave if it had the button. Same here only guy half the time on a 2T and only guy without a button. If the electric start ever became available I would buy one. I hear you on all the crappy spots to ha...

I personally like the stock honda line best. Get new pads and clean your old stuff up real good a little dab of grease or oil will make a mess of the brake feel. I somehow got a little dab of something on my rear a few years back, first corner I almost died, tried dragging them a while to clean them...

I'm starting this with I personally know nothing about making gears. That said, is all you need to do it a cnc mill? seems like there would be a lot more to it. If a CNC mill is all thats needed a good friend of mine owns D1H racing that makes triple clamps and stuff and I could probably get him to ...

O.K. since this thread went completly sideways I'm in. I am not sure if its because I grew up in California and have never seen one or I was sneaking too many peaks at my Dad's playboys in the 70's and liked it. I have never seen anything in person with more than a small strip, and more often than n...

Tharell I dig that Pomeroy sticker on the side of that Yamaha. He flicked me a First American T-shirt years ago at a shop in Washington because I knew who he was, it is about the only thing in my life I haven't ruined. I never wore it, still have it. He was a good guy. Nice bikes you have there too!...

Answer Sneaker Silencer
Well I took the risk because I needed a new silencer on this old answer called an ISDE sneaker, It looks well made, at least from the one picture, and I am guessing its quiet. I searched the net and can't find a thing about them. I will post a ride report when the thing shows up and I get it on, but...
