didnt rss396 dyno his liger with and without a spark arrestor, i think the diffrence was 2hp and thats 600cc+ at 7000rpm+

seperate high speed dampening, find a bike with one, put it on the stand and violently slam the bars side to side, if its set anywhere near proper you will feel the HS slow it right down

In general is there a loss in power using a spark arrestor equipped silencer versus a non spark arrestor silencer?
i dont think its much difference, i do think it runs crisper/cleaner without it, but i dont think theres much power difference

Will argon gas be ok or does it have to be nitrogen?
chumley could probably get away using argon, nitrogen for everyone else :lol:
you'll need an air shock adapter so you can pull the hose off without losing any pressure from the reservoir
again unless your chumley this needs to be done

if you wanted to try a C series needle (i like them in warmer weather) then go up 2 sizes on the main from what you run with the D (from 172 to 178).... for summer id go with a CGM

you may or may not see oil if there is a problem with the oil seal as it could manifest as an air leak leaking into the motor
not really, theres no vacuum in the gearbox

i made a new drop off, im guessing 9' vertical drop, its got a narrow crooked approach and a sidehill landing i made quite a few false runs before going for it, im running the same suspension that i run in the woods, didnt even touch the clickers on the last drop i got a little sideways and the whee...

you should ba able to just pull the impeller if your only replacing the water seal
if its never been off heat the impeller with a propane torch, it comes with some real strong locktite

regular antifreeze runs hotter and dosent cool quite as good, but boils at a higher temp.... another big benefit is it lubricates the waterpump seal so your less likely to blow one on the side of the trail....

scott makes a little fan that mounts in the gogles, i know 2 guys that have them and they said it works sweet
