Feel free to go over and post this same info at Vital, since you were quick to point out how wrong I was over there. Nothing personal, but if you have ANY balls at all.........

Hmmm, Alberta's a pretty big place, could you be perhaps a little more SPECIFIC. I live 60 km from Count FLloydminster when I'm working, fly home to the asshole of the country on days off. Also a proud card carrying member of the Hate Four Strokes Club. Probably get my half litre out here again next...

Roosty measured my end gap last summer at his shop when we were changing a couple of gears out in the trans. .050. That's right. 50 thou. Slammed it back together in June and rode it out to the end of the season. Fuck it, it's a Honda. It's bulletproof. Lol

I was pretty apprehensive about modding my tank too, but I finally just went ahead and did it. Mine was an 04 450 tank, and I only had one heat gun. I just worked it around in a circle on the area I wanted moved, and it was easy. I did it once, tried the fit and needed a little more. Two attempts an...

Replace those pawls. I overlooked those once and it cost me 6 gears after replacing them only 20 hours earlier. Dropped a G note on the repair and in 20 hours, back in there again. Had "minor wear" on mine as well, but it was enough. $10 parts cost me $1000. Awesome.

Not my stuff but...

Saw this on Vital, just posting because I thought it might interest a guy doing a conversion. Don't know if that year frame is a PITA or not, this is just a public service announcement. Another service I offer, beside slagging MPS. http://www.vitalmx.com/forums/The-Bazaar,26/CRF-Parts-2004-20...

I have an 04 450AF and the suspension is the best part ABOUT the bike. My usual guy valved my forks, they're plush like all his work and I have an Ohlins shock with stock valving in it. It has the right spring on it, but need to get it valved for my 260 lb carcass. I'd say get your forks right, and ...

I did an 04 airbox, I think they're the same. Cut out an adapter plate for the front of the airbox, either alum or Lexan, 3 mil thick. Some guys preferred Lexan because it's clear. Get an airboot from the 98/99 CR250 and a Moose reed spacer. Align it all properly and cut and attach the adapter to th...

If youre only changing the minimum of pafts, change the gear to the right.of fhe one you have circled. The one the dogs engage. If ones bad, the other one is usually part of the problem. Check the shift fork as well. Its likely bent, which would be why the gears stopped engaging properly. Even if it...

An Aussie on here made an entire airbox and boot out of aluminum for his AF, using a rubber collar to connect it to the carb. I thought it looked cool, maybe that's an option. Or an ally box with a boot made to fit. Your bike's pretty cool, a little more exotica wouldn't hurt.

Welcome to the asylum run by the inmates, Monsieur Klein. I'm curious as to why you chose a different stage name when you joined here. Keep in mind that around here, we speak what is referred to as "the truth". So if someone says something you perceive as negative, it's usually "the t...

I've never run into fuel blowing back before, maybe I'm lucky. Just my thought here, but when I lived in Calgary at 3500 ft, people said to cut jetting back 10%.
