New swing arm made, just need to try to brake it for a while to make sure it's okay, uses the casting from the CR250 and the rear casting from a TRX450 with some doubling plates, probably over kill now.

just a thought, make sure your kick start lever hits the foot peg and the mechanism is not binding up in the case.

Tell us about your 2 stroke turbo experience, I know its possible but it's rare. I'd be interested to know if there are any differences in the porting and also how much boost will it handle before the crank seals leak out.

Start with checking all grounds, then look for broken insulation on wires. plug wire and cap, stator, coil, CDI that is about everything unless you have a plugged vent in your gas cap :wink: If you have another bike around that you can swap parts with that helps to locate problem areas too. it can be done, I had my '89 wheel on my 01 AF,
if I recall correctly, you need to use the smaller diameter axle, make up some bushings to go into the swing arm for the different axle and the adjuster blocks need to be for the smaller axle.
