thanks for the info. I saw this online and was curious what it was about. seems like all mikuni carbs are inconsistant with the exception of the old VM roundslides. my 03 CR125 was such a pain I put an air striker on it.
way mo betta.

dammn, back to the dyno  is the newest model 250 boot better or different than the 125 i wonder? dunno about the 250. the guy who ported my 125 told me the vents and boot alone are worth 1hp on a stock 125 and 2-3hp on a modded 125 depending on the extent of the mods. I could def feel the dif...

its not bigger, it just has a smoother transition to the carb. the older ones had a right angle dead end. I recently changed my 125 and 500 to the 07 CR125 boots (both are the same chassis). also added 1" unifilter airbox vents. one on the left is the 07 boot in all pics (rt one is the 03). got...

this is how my 125 was done, doesn't seem to be a problem as I ride in sand. not sure if it would be good for mud though. It also has all Cycra plastic and the Cycra rear fender is supposed to let more air into the box. http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/zz34/yotadevrep/03%20Lamson%20CR125/03CR125La...

airbox mod for AF's with gen 3 CR125 chassis

I know that there aren't many of us with this chassis but for what its worth. Recently I purchased a nice 03 CR125. My AF is also on an 03 CR125 chassis. The airbox on the new 125 had been modified with 5-1" diameter Unifilter airbox vents added and an 05-07 rubber boot between the airbox and c...
