Just gonna throw this out there - did you try to adjust the idle screw (The choke knob) by turning counter clockwise to raise idle? Mine wont idle for shit when its cold so I adjust high for a warm up, then turn it back down.

I agree with Mojo. Change it a tad. The ~loss is negligible. My FMF Q really quieted it down - which I don't mind.

Sucks.

It was the same way when I was looking for mine. I just called around till I found it. Traded wife's Sequoia for it in 2008. Good thing about Toyota - they hold their value.

Looks clean from the pics... If you go look at it again, check the distance between the bump stop on the front springs and the frame. The front springs are notoriously soft and prone to sag, causing all sorts of ride issues. If there is 1" of clearance, then they sag, and some bargaining room f...

Key word: maintained.

I have ~150k on mine. Did all the work, less the transmission myself. Parts and go-fast goodies are habit forming. ;) I hope to break 500k on my 7.3.

That sucks. Fire in 2003 took out a shed of mine with a bunch of parts in it. Anything aluminum turned to silver lava, as mentioned above. Danny had some stuff in there too - homeowners insurance didnt cover - as it excluded auto parts. BS

Yeah I always wondered why people wanted to pressurize their tanks.

I guess the real ones have a one-way vent. I'd rather just stick with the hose.

My Ford uses hydroboost as well.

Not a bad idea. I think I may do this as well. Looks like the inline transmission filters too.
