The pull is easier and smoother, I have just never had a hydraulic clutch on any bike and the feel is quite different than a cable. I personally couldn't get used to it and that may have been the fact that I swap between a couple of different bikes and it was the only one with a hydraulic clutch ...

I've got two complete magura hydraulic clutch kits for sale, both are slightly used but were removed from the bike fully functional and usable.

1997-2001 cr250 will fit but brake rotor is different on rear.

2002-2007 cr250 will fit

2004-2012 crf450 will fit

Cr125 and crf250f have a narrower rear rim otherwise will fit

Use your spacers and axle

I was very disappointed with my magura experience.

Pull was not really better, wouldn't always disengage fully, blew the slave cylinder seal a few times, just in general not happy about being let down multiple times and ways.

Make a mount tab similar to what is attached to the cross member(shock mount) on your 250, weld it onto the 450 frame and bend some plates - best way possible is to copy what is on your gen2 cr250. You could make it all with just some small scraps of aluminum (1" thick block by 2"x1") hardest part ...
