Lol oh yea I'm alive just been nucking futs busy!! Yea it was a boyeson I gave you - and they are ok and do seal better than the plastic warped stockers - and I would run an ignition cover from them again if I needed to, but not a clutch cover - the stock cast alloy will take a hit way better. The o...

Marketing genius!

Actually it is great that they've got decent photos of multiple angle an side of the parts, that is rare and nice when you are trying to decide if a used part is any good, lol

I haven't used them yet but they were highly recommended to me, prices seemed resonable. Welding repairs seem to be the norm.

Another option is to get a 05+ cylinder and head/top end new and swap to that. You would also need an 05+ pipe.

Agreed --- Paul does great work and is a great guy to deal with! He would be one of the best to make it proper.

I just don't get how one 500 motor was in there and now another won't fit back in....

Can you put some Photos up to show the issue? If a 500 was in there, then it should be a drop in for any other 500 motor..

Brand new is like $50? ----$47.81 service Honda price

Not worth bothering with used, especially off eBay by the time it shows up with crack seams and rivets pulled thru.

Well building the bike you want to have that you can't just buy is what this site is all about, if it "fits" you right, then that's a great move, and you can always sell the ktm motor I'm sure,

We will definetly need some helmet cam vids from this!

I think its pretty cool, I really like the custom builds and anything that someone wants to build to personalize for themselves. One reason 2Strokesforever can get away with 4psi, is hes running a TUBLISS, which basically acts a 360 degree rimlock/beadlock, so it shouldn't be able to get peeled off the rim... I'm kinda funny about tires in that i like a rear tire that lets the bike turn and handle well without interfering and...

Suspension should be same components between both of those, and since the 500 motor swap requires different setup than a 250 or 450, I'd say go with whatever chassis fits you better.

And looks priced quite reasonable... It's on my list of tires to try out soon.

Had a "unique" issue on the weekend... crashed and had my left foot get stuck under the bike for a few minutes, the vent hoses drained a bit of premix onto the top of my boot... Didn't think anything of it until the next time i went to upshift and my toe slid out from under the damn shifte...

you would be better off to buy the after market oversize rads to fit the 125, and modify them for the 500 fitments hose sizes and such.
