pretty sure it is from a 1998 CR250. It is rubbing a little bit on the frame in the upper part I tried to heat it with a heat gun to "push it ". Not perfect but it dis the job.

WTB: Cylinder spacer

I need a new rod in my 1986 engine so I think the easiest way (and cheapest) is to put a long rod.

Anybody have one of those spacer ?

Cylinder sleeve difference 85-6 vs 87-8, wich one do i have?

How can I tell what year is my cylinder (85-86 or 87-88 )? I'm going to get it sleeved and I noticed sleeve part # is different between those year.

Remove the spark plug cap from the wire, cut the wire like 1/8" and screw the cap back on it, tou can do it on the coil side too. Maybe the connection isn,t good there...

Or you can try to close the air gap between the pickup coil and the flywheel.

Powdercoat will hold no problem. I've done my 2 engines last winter, one satin black, and the other one silver metallic + clear. They both still looking good. https://c2iymw.bay.livefilestore.com/y2p0sDMNOsto9zdH-dBwraZtAOaf4XoqB52zzQmFID2nbo4MJHC-dm2WEpgwopL9zSumwn0BqDyG82x8El2fpa_xqDp9e4EQwnWsX1no...

Thank you !

The bottom motor mount are the stock ones that I saved and relocated. I cut an aluminum square tube (1"x1" 1/8"wall) in half to get a 90° and put it under the mounts and the spacing was almost correct, I had to thin them a little bit.

I like your Y too. If I can make a suggestion, instead of the "Pocket" that rubbed the motor, do the opposite, make that part go inside the frame. It will give you more cleareance all around the tube. I would also leave the motor mounts on the Y , less welding = less stress on the part--> ...

They are not direct replacement, you will have to get your case bored to accept them.
