Just thought I would give an update!!

I have been fighting this problem for a long time now. I have put a pingle fuel valve on and still the same problem.

The fix, modified fuel cap breather. No more problems.

Thanks, I was looking at some DNA wheels and I'm sure that the wheels are the later ones that have the bigger axle, bearings and different wheel spacing. I am not sure of the different gens and years. I wish that someone could tell me exactly what I would need to do so I wouldn't have to waste money...

I like my CPI pipe, I'm not a great rider, but I wanted to feel some of that arm riping power my 88 had.

I know it lost some bottom end but I dont think its bad at all, allready had alot of bottom end, could loose a little. LOL

I see compleatly what your saying thats why I asked what you can get away with on stock porting. I have built many big block chevs and what your saying holds true even on a cam and valve engine. Like dubious 01 Just hoped to get a simple "I had pinging at 175" or "best at stock" ...

Thanks glen, I understand when you build a 4 stroke engine with a high lift long duration cam that at low rpm the engine is less efficiant, but as higher rpm's come the engine becomes more efficiant than the smaller cam engine, thats why it builds more power. I just thought a two stroke engine worke...

I ran my zilla for 11 years on a weisco with no problems, until I leaned it out to much. It still had 158 lbs compression compared to 165 lbs new.
