$1K for the frame work? that seems a bit steep to me. is that generally what it costs if i send the frame to someone?

huge heavy 10 paddle or slim 8 paddle?
Im having a hell of a time getting a good paddle tire for my 500.
i found and 18" 10 cup but the thing is HUGE and hits my linkage and swing arm. not to mention how heavy it is.
is trying to run an 8 paddle a waste of time on the 500?
should i stick with what i have or should i try a smaller 8 ...
