my brother is a recovering meth head, ruined his life and my parents too. lost all his teeth and hair along the way. It's about the worst drug out there. I never met Mike but I talked to him on the phone once or twice a week for the months he had my frame going and he seemed like a likable guy at th...

Fachar, wow. blast from my past. I remember when the focus of my life was getting my frame from Fachar. great work though when I finally got it after 4 months. Bob put in quite a bit of time on my behalf. .... at times.and more often than not, you step right in a pile of crap ,and your foot gets jus...

I've had nine KTM's ove the years, still have an 08 and none of the chassis' were worth transplanting an engine into until 08. bad stock suspension from 98 until a couple of years ago and mediocre handling until 08. I was thinking though that putting an old KTM big bore in one of the new chassis' wo...

not sure on the 500 but on my 95 250 steelie I had to use a newer upper clamp and use some paper thin alum to shim the lower clamps and change the brake caliper to a newer one (used an 08 4 stroke one). I think I also had to use a newer front axle as the stock one was too short. forks are 08 CRF250r...

actually they are inserts you put in a stock fork tube, replaces the entire internal assembly. I had them on my AF for a year or so, put them in a set of 08 CRF250f forks. They work good but it is critical that you shim them internally to get the correct front sag setting. If you get it wrong or don...

I've had a lot of KTM's thru the years, 1st one was a 77 Penton 250MX, still have an 08 200. Don't know why anyone would prefer WP forks over about any honda fork. I wil say that the 08 WP's are better than the prior years.

when I got my frame back from Mike it had been heat treated and cooled in a salt water mist, looked like it had been in the bay. I used navel jelly to clean it and then dried it and used a wide stainless steel brush in the direction of the grain. Looked stock to me when it was done. https://bannedcr...

here is a link to a Maico decomp valve. they are cable operated and return closed via a built in spring. they are very reliable, never had one fail. no need for a rube goldburg (no offense I thought it was pretty creative) lever set up. could this be mounted in the head? http://www.vmxunlimited.com/...

Re: best place for radiator repair/recore

I did do a search. also opinions on who to do the comp...
