I did not see anyone with a 500 at the airstrip so I parked across from the Blew Inn and rode solo out to the Gypsum mine and back, topped off and then rode up San Felipe for a bit.

I finally got my bike into 5th though! :cool:

Had to dodge some people on quads and bikes a few times today, they ...

I went to the doc yesterday for an apointment for them to look at a little lump on my elbow that's been bothering me lately and I ended up having minor surgery....

Turns out it was an inclusion cycst and they cut it out for me. They did not tell me what it was but I suspect it was a piece of rock ...

I gotta stick to OHV areas on my 500, it's not plated like Hammer's. I still have the XRL but want to ride more on the 500 this season.

I never claimed to be fast or a pro but I like to think that I do ride well enough with others to be invited back again. I'm still getting used to the 500 so I ...

Got home from a work trip to Hawaii last night. I was wanting to ride the whole time I was there :cry: . Island fever would keep me from wanting to live there. I was talking to a couple of guys who do live there and they told me that there are a few places to ride on the big island but nothing like ...

Just wanted to ask if any of you guys want to plan a meet up and ride out in East SD / Imperial county?

AR15's are fun and pretty good shooters at decent ranges with the right set up. Shortened and dialed in they are good for CQC but....

I like to think of them like a CR250 compared to a CR500...the AR/ M-16 variants might be lighter and easier to handle for most people but they just don't not have ...

So what if it's a YZ250 in the video, the guy who wrote it and sings it is definitely a Hoon at heart, this song is great!

Found this older vid of a CR500 bombing San Felipe wash out at Ocitillo. I've done that a few times on my XR and the KLX400R I had. Those were fun times but I think my 500 is really going to shine out there

So a friend at work asks me; "How do you keep from killing yourself on that 500 of yours" ?

I answered; "I ride because I love it, not to get hurt and when I know I'm pushing it to hard I just tell myself"....

I will admit that I'm new to using a stabilizer; I've been experimenting with the settings as I ride and the bike seems pretty stable at high ...

Thanks Sabreguy, I finally got around to getting some saddle time on her. I've been pretty busy with work but have been taking off to ride for the last three weekends on training sessions for the desert!
