Electronic Digital Ignition for the CR500 any input?

Saw this on EBAY: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CR500AF-CR500R-Electronic-Digital-Ignition-Flywheel_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a317Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem4a978b33b3QQitemZ320370062259QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ...

Well, if the 500 motor is 10-15 lbs lighter, the 10-15 bs I have gained since I had my suspension done will make up for it. Now I don't have to go on a diet! :D

Another nod for Fastco's Flex Bars. I had them on my last AF and will be putting them on my current AF as well.

They do take several rides to get used to. Several times I was close to yardsale before I began to trust the feel of the flex bars.

......revalving for the bike? Fill me in a little. I have the 450 suspension set up for me, it's perfect. WHy would the conversion to a 500 require more revalving?

Thanks!

...I will try out a couple swaps. More than just having parts that interchange, they need to work well together too. Don't want some frankenstien where the rake and trail get all fff'd up and the wheelbase is incorrect.........so forth. Maybe better to just sell the 450 as it sits and buy the shit I...

CRF450R parts swapping to 2002 CR500AF

Have a 2007 CRF450R with alot of shit done to it. What besides the wheels can be fitted to my 02 CR250 chassis before I sell it?

I know the wheels will cross over.

Triple clamps and forks?
Shock?
Anything?

My air screw is at 1.5, seems to run best there. The surging only happens when the idle adj knob (choke) is opened way up(about 75% or more). As long as that idle adj knob is opened way up it surges with every jetting config I have tried (only surges when throttle is cut) otherwise, with the idle ad...

Gen 3 Skid plate?

Are the frame measurements the same for the SH as they are for the 250? Looking for a glide plate that might work. What are you folks using?

Pilot jet rules and regulations

Any situation where a 58 pilot jet might be a good idea? Can't seem to get my AF running quite right. Tried every combo with 170/175, 48-55, needle 2nd to 4th clip. (PJ) by the way. On a 2001 motor built new 1 month ago by SH. Don't want to dwell to much on idle, but it needs to be better. Idle adj ...
