I don't think I checked the plate sides, but that makes alot of sense. Yeah my old cr250 had a notched clutch basket, but my cr500 didn't have almost any marks on it. It did it as soon as I installed it, where as the old clutch didn't. Crazy. I wish we had big hill climbs up here in British Columbia.

I ride street bikes and have a cr 500 and ktm 300, but I think I'd be alittle nervous holding that thing to the pin up some of those hills. Alot of power between your legs lol.

dunno about your bike, but my rear tire on my 99 cr 500 was screwed, so I ordered a excel outer rim and spokes. broke 2 spokes and ordered stock honda spokes and they fit.
