It's been forever since i've visited this forum. Seems like everything 500 related is on Facebook nowadays. I'm turning 61 this month, I still rip the desert on my 99 with my buddy who is 68 and rides a 2016 KTM 250SX.

Its been a few year's, or longer, but I just checked in to see if this place was still alive. I figured the Facebook groups had buried this forum, but apparently not!! Turning 57 in May and still ripping my '99 that I've had for 18 years.

Those CR5 karts are bad ass!

New Africa Twin is gorgeous. I want one, but will wait until the 2017"s come out so they can work out any "first year" bugs.

I use Tag's in the CR high bend on my 99.

Why are you selling it? Are you going to build another one, or just ride the XR?

Never mind. I figured it out on my own and got everything dialed in this past weekend.

I've been running a Primary Drive chain which is now toast. 85% of my riding is dunes and sandy trails made up of the same sand that the dunes are. Should I stick with the standard type chains or go with an o-ring or x-ring? I'm concerned that if I go with a ringed
chain that the sand will work ...
