Well ok then, not my problem. Just thought others would be tripped out alittle beyond the norm. But if it's good with Bob, doesn't bother me. I do know who it is btw, and he truelly is a nature boy so no worries there. lol

How about you get a kit and buy a gen 1 bike. It's a easy swap that only needs minor welding of a few mounts. For kit info, see the other post in this section with like 5 or 6 pages.

I'd like to suggest that pulling the carb is no big deal, and you should get used to pulling it occasionally. You can also loosen the clamps, rotate the carb, and remove the float bowl, pilot jet, main, float and float jet etc., for a smaller amount of work. You can also change the main jet by rotat...

What year is your project frame? Should you decide to sell it, don't let Jay or Bob have it, they keep swooping up the good ones, and other peeps need them too.

I have scrutinized the AF welds on my buds 05SH, and they look like ass. Hard to believe he paid 9300 bucks forit used, and the welds are that bad. They coulda at least hit the frame with some emory cloth after the welding was done. Wish I had pics, i mean it's realy bad.

So the only welding needed for the conversion is the two motor mounts and a pipe mount relocation? What is the big piece on the side of the frame with two bolt holes for? I understand what the spacers on the swingarm do.

I think it looks good, I'd rather have red everything though. But where does all that extra coin come from? Just getting everything black doesn't add up to 4 g's worth of paint and powder coating.
