Yeah thats the fix. I cobbed mine for a quick test fix, but will have to get new hose and a metal hose-hose connector. Well here is what I came up with for a "test" fix. I reversed the old hose, cut off the bad end, and used a 90 3/4 fitting.

87' cr500 motor with 01' case cover
Just put my 87' motor back together with a new 01' case cover and new water pump stuff. The only problem now is the coolant line from the cylinder to the pump. Has anyone found a stock coolant line with similair bends?? The oem is to short on the 87', and the pipe is super tight to the motor. I ...
