I hate it when people pull that crap. I purchased a spare engine a while back and it took the guy over a week to ship it out. The deal went through and I did end up getting my engine. Dealing w/bastards like that makes us question those who are legit. Sorry to hear about the bad issues....hope it al...

I have wondered what it would look like w/knobbies....

Thanks, but I still have the challenge of making a new rocker arm for the shock linkage.

At this point I can't wait to sit on it and bounce on the seat.

Do any of you give names to your builds? I started referring to mine a while back as the VCR500X. Well....it's part CR and part VFR. Here's what the "V" stands for. http://inlinethumb64.webshots.com/20927/2729702150102045454S600x600Q85.jpg http://inlinethumb08.webshots.com/44039/2459434210...

I remember the interview with the director and the stunt man. They commented on that jump that it was near a bike hang out and there were spectators on dirt bikes. They happen to be riding there when the jump took place. Amazing that someone was actually piloting the thing. The new Dukes movie had a...

Harley and performance, what a joke. At least the V-Rod/Porsche motor was a drastic improvement just for the water cooling. A turbo'd Honda or Duc would have put shame to the huffed Harley. But hey....if someone needs a Hog to think they're cool, that's fine w/me. We stopped in at a Ducati shop in D...

It's a CSU 850. It was almost spot-on outta the box. He sent the carb back and had it modded to run E85. The 2 vids are the initial runs on the new fuel. He says it runs similar.....except coolant temps really dropped. I'm sure EGTs are lower also. He said he bumped the timing and will be swapping f...

twin turbo Camaro

I assembled this turbo system (from scratch) for a good friend: http://inlinethumb55.webshots.com/17526/2811532420102045454S600x600Q85.jpg He finally shot a cheezy/crappy vid and sent me a link to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoN2i1C0xCc Another crappy vid. You can always score a good deal from the poor puss-whipped sellers.
His loss is your gain. Looks really clean. I'd get it if I didn't have so many toys already...what's one more anyway.
My wife would never pull that crap.

Keep us posted on what happens.

Very good explanation of bad ass work. You can never spend too much time when you're searching for more power.

Happen to have any pics of what you did?????

I'll polish the port during final assembly. It might not be a bad idea to cc the runner and keep that info in the note book.

I loaded pictures onto my webshots files earlier today. Then I was screwing around with my web site over at GoDaddy. I punched CR500AFCONVERSIONS.com into the search box and it came up available.....Hmmmm. So I paid the $12 fee and had it registered. I'm building a 500 conversion....and it'll be a s...

Yep...Nothing less than a Honda will do for me. I am loyal, so what can I say. Riding is riding and a real sport bike is a different kind of thrill. It may not be a Honda, but everyone knows how potent the R series is. I was looking for a bike w/a fairing. Some days I just hate getting beat by the w...

'86....'01 125.
That's what it took (me) to make it work. The carb is at the perfect angle and the air boot is the correct length. Easier for me to do that than having to track down parts that "may" fit and might have shock clearance.

What year Camaro???

I have a 3 piston rear caliper from a VFR800, which has a complex proportional braking system. The outer 2 pistons of the caliper are tied into the brake pedal, the center piston is plumbed into the front lever. So....if I run a brake line from the front master cylinder to the rear center piston, it...

If I unloaded a clip, I'd be hitting Harleys and ricer cruisers.
Wish there were at least some MX/dual sporters here locally.
Sucks being the Lone Ranger.... though I'd fit into a big crowd if I had a jacked up 4X4.

Dexcool is Ok stuff. They claim 100K mile intervals, but it should be dumped after 2/3 years (car/truck). I've seen some sludged up shit when it's time is expired. There's nothing permanent about permanment antifreeze. It all goes bad....especially in a diesel. Prestone green is about the best you c...

Free frame Y from a 2nd gen 125

The Y has been cut pretty short (still to long for me), I ended up making a custom Y. It's still usable.

Still have the stock down tubes w/mounts attached.

All free to someone in need.....

This stuff is never easy. I had to shave .200" off the rotor pads and then cut .050 from the back of the rotor hat. I needed an extra 1/4" for the disc to clear the upper fork leg. I also took a little off the hubs so I could set the seals in deeper. Now I'm ready to start fabbing the cali...
