Can I use my stock ignition on the 98 CR 250 ? Has 6 wires and the 500 magneto has 4 wires....

Yeah thanks.I think 8 is cheap myself.I am always on my KTM and never seem to get to somewhere like Lancelin or Myalup where there's some decent 500 country so its barely been ridden. Always riding the tight stuff....

Being a tradesman (and an Aussie) myself I can see the costs involved.Id like to see the cost if someone took the drawings to a machine shop and asked for all the kit to be made as a 1 off.Looks like great quality to guys,I like it !! yeah it is a shame but so hard to find just an engine.Spoke to a couple of wreckers over east when I seen an advertisement for an engine and they are asking over $3000 just for the engine,and thats not even fully rebuilt !
