...one was about the " 1993" bike.... its the same one he used from 1993 to the end of his Honda career.... he loved that bike. Every year the Honda race mechanics would bring out the "New" bike, every year they would flog it up until the opening round.... and ever year Jermey w...

Re: Rear tires
First thing I did was weigh them on the trusty bathroom scale. Virtually identical, right around 10 lbs. I'd heard the switch was made to 19 in order to save weight, none saved here as far as I can tell. Bathroom scales probably aren't going to cut it if you're trying to compare the two. When split...

Re: Spark Plug Cleaner
Hmm...to clean a spark plug, or not to clean a spark plug...that is the the question.Tharrell wrote:Harbor Freight, $15.
Works great.
Way I see it...you've still gotta take the damn thing out so why wouldn't you buy a plug for $6-$8 and spend the rest of the loot on titties and beer?

Did I say anything to the contrary? I do see a distinct separation between 500s and 500AFs if that's what confus...

Just a Gen3. Built with an emphasis towards cornering. It's light as shit for a big bore, 226lbs wet w/no fuel. Smaller flywheel, no tubes, Ti fasteners on the hubs and clutch etc. It's a cornering son of a bitch although admittedly not as well handling as I'd like. But more responsive than a 450, y...

Even though the KTM 250 two-stroke engine hasn’t seen any power improving modifications since 2008, it’s a rocket ship! The 250SX has a very smooth, broad and usable powerband (very linear). Made 49.05 horsepower at 8600 rpm and 30.95 foot pounds of torque at 8100 rpm. That's 1.8 horsepower and 1.7...

Hey Mick, is the glass half empty or half full? Some one is a little pessimistic. Danny my glass ran plum out of damn water awhile ago, I'm all doom and gloom  I don't know...I just haven't seen many two strokes fail (shrug). Be it that during the weekend races the majority of riders are on fo...

Ill give you a clue, both thumpers and smokers have this part, so being a thumper made no difference in this case... Thank goodness! It would be really upsetting if I bought a four stroke that not only came with it's own problems, but no longer shared 2 smoke failures as well :hohum: ...if you're g...

P-51's are known to bounce, stall, and roll over if your not careful . So we're agreeing it was pilot error? Not that I'm fishing buddies with P-51 pilots or something, but I've been told by one or two, Mustangs were easier to fly than driving a car. ...I mean, golf karts are known to bounce and ro...

When I put an aluminum sleeve in there this year I'm gonna have it bored and plated out to 89mm also. I'm more interested in saving recip weight than trying to gain 1/2 hp in displacement. Also the aluminum sleeve won't have scallops either at 89mm. With the Arrow Precision rod I want to use it shou...

Re: This totally sucks ass........ P-51 down
...saw the plane cartwheel into the building and explode....It’s conducive to the type of aircraft that he was flying. :bsmeter: Cartwheeling into buildings and exploding is not conducive to the P-51 (any model), so I'm told by pilots who fly them. Pilot fuckered up...that's all. Still really unfor...
