The federal government isn't supposed to order States what to do, it's supposed to help each free thinking state as best it can. If it doesn't like what a particular S...

I can't remember who did it (Edmunds?) but they compared fuel mileage, cost, performance and emissions from a Tahoe ran on E85, then regular unleaded. Ahh hell I'll just find the article...

Oh gosh...is that because somebody read it has an octane rating of 100-105?? So you know that's RON. The way I see it E85 is 81 octane, Motor Octane Number that is. A number of premium pump fuels are rated at 95-96 MON. It's well known ethanol raises compression, but it's not the compression we spea...

Yes exactly. Not that I or anyone else is gonna feel a difference on the bike. I figure dumping the steel sleeve puts a CR500 powerplant another decade ahead of the fourstrokes in power : weight ratio. One way of looking at it is power only benefits you when you're on the throttle. Reduced weight is...

Looks like a great base to start from IMO. I wished to hell I had done this during my last bore. So Roostius...you dislike plated aluminum bores but you don't have a problem sleeving them for customers  Next year I suppose will be as good a time as any for me. Although I'll have Advanced Sleeve...

Re: engine coatings
I'm rebuilding a 91 motor and I want it to be really reliable Take your time, do the research and spend the loot to rebuild it correctly. All the engine coatings in the world can't save a piss poor rebuild. That being said, could it have been the coatings that saved my motor last fall during a race...

I meant like some prick actually citing you for it...like getting a ticket for purchasing meat on a Sunday, getting a BJ, having sex with a woman without asking her father's permission first. Lots of dumb ass laws that aren't enforced. I'm saying a guy could expect a fine for doing what Bob is...lik...
